Embody Movement is sponsoring the Caloundra Lighthouses junior rugby

We just love seeing people of all ages get active. Community sport is such a great way to get fit, make new friends and have some fun along the way.

As part of our commitment to community sport, Embody Movement Physiotherapy & Pilates has partnered with Caloundra Junior Rugby Union as its major sponsor for 2021 and 2022.

The Embody Movement logo is proudly displayed on the front of the junior team strips which also feature the club’s well known black and gold colouring.

Supporting our Sunshine Coast community

Embody Movement is a local family-owned business, so supporting our Caloundra, Currimundi and broader Sunshine Coast community is important to us.

“Our team of Physiotherapists and Pilates instructors work closely with many local families when it comes to preparing for team sports as well as building strength and recovering from injury,” Embody Movement co-owner Rachel Morgan-Varlow said.

“Sponsoring the Caloundra Lighthouses is a way that Embody Movement can give back to the local community that supports us. It also allows us to share our knowledge about wellbeing and looking after our bodies with a new generation of sports enthusiasts.”

About Caloundra Lighthouses rugby

The Caloundra Lighthouses club was established in 1982. Home games are played at Caloundra Rugby Union Club fields in Arthur Street, where there you’ll find awesome facilities and a spacious clubhouse. The junior club has teams ranging in ages from under 6s to under 15s.

Rugby Union is truly a game for all. With women’s and girl’s participation increasing at a rapid rate female comps across the Sunshine Coast are booming and there are now more clubs participating in both the female junior and senior competitions than the male competitions.

The club is also has a proud history of selection in representative teams. Already this year, Mylo Strathearn has been selected in the Under 15 District school boys team and girls’ coach Jessica Broadhurst has made the Sunshine Coast Stingrays squad.

Embody Movement joins Bendigo Bank, Banana Bender Pub, Domino’s Pizza and Comunite’z as sponsors for this year.

Head on down to the club on Saturday mornings to check out all the action! For more information about games and registration, check out the Caloundra Lighthouses Facebook page.
