About Libby
Before becoming a Physiotherapist, Libby was an Oral Health Therapist in specialist practice and an academic at The University of Queensland School of Dentistry. Scoliosis and chronic back pain led Libby away from clinical dentistry and into the world of Pilates movement therapy.
With a love for health and understanding the body, Libby side-stepped into Physiotherapy in order to help people overcome pain and injury and improve the quality of their lives.
Libby has a passion for adventure and before joining the team at Embody Movement she embarked on a lap of Australia with her caravan and her labradoodle George, spending a season working in Broome and exploring the Kimberley.
You’ll find me in my spare time: Spending time with friends and family, and often camping by a creek.
My philosophy on Physiotherapy: With knowledge comes power, and understanding your body and your health is the first step to improving it. I will meet you where you’re at on your health journey and support you to make the changes you desire to improve your health and wellness. I truly believe that the smaller the comfort zone, the greater the personal growth.
