Ruby-Mai Wall
Remedial Massage Therapist
Ruby is available at our Currimundi and Forest Glen locations.
Here at Embody Movement, we like to think Ruby has ‘magical’ hands. And our clients tend to agree! Ruby is intuitive and has a deep knowledge of anatomy and movement. She understands the freedom that good health gives and how massage can play an important role in supporting self-care, recovery and mental health.
Ruby’s approach to massage treatment is to work with all the body’s systems including the breath and nervous system. Her massage treatment is based on your individual needs and can incorporate relaxation massage, remedial massage, deep tissue massage and passive stretching.
Her calm and caring nature resonates with clients who are busy, overwhelmed, stressed or who struggle to prioritise or seek self-care such as people with skin conditions, weight concerns, anxiety etc.
Ruby is available for treatments at Forest Glen on Wednesdays and Fridays; and Currimundi on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

About Ruby
Looking for a change from a corporate workspace, Ruby started her remedial massage journey in 2018, completing a Diploma of Remedial Massage. Soon after, she was asked to return to manage the student clinic and teach remedial massage therapy.
As a committed life learner, which led her into the education industry, Ruby was passionate about teaching remedial massage and supporting therapists of the future to be confident in helping their own clients reach health goals.
Ruby loves working with all people from different walks of life. She especially values the opportunity to work with pre and post-natal clients, anyone who is nervous about remedial massage and people working in service industries or as carers, such as nurses, stay-at-home parents, etc.
Ruby prioritises movement, health and exercise to be the best version of herself and be a good role model for her son. This, along with living her values, led Ruby to work in the wellness industry. She believes that you don't know how good you can feel until you see what you are capable of feeling.
You’ll find me in my spare time: Spending time with my family, at the gym or running around at a waterfall or the beach.
My philosophy on Massage Therapy: I believe in treating the whole client, incorporating the nervous system, the body, and breath and empowering each person with education, self-care and self-management.
Favourite place on the Sunshine Coast: There are a few secret swimming holes around the coastline we love to explore. However, Maleny is my hometown so we always love hinterland adventures.
“Self care is not an expense, it's an investment. You cannot pour from an empty cup." - Ruby-mai Wall, Massage Therapist.
